Vintage Castlecliff 1970s Egyptian Revival King Tut pendant necklace
A 1970s Egyptian Revival King Tutankhamun pendant designed by Larry Vrba for Castlecliff, NYC. The oversized pendant features coral-colored enamel on the names and lappets of the pharaoh's headress. A large jade-colored cabochon stone centers the winged, hinged portion of the pendant and three miniature sarcophaguses suspend below. Rolo link chain. Excellent vintage condition. These were made in a variety of enamel/stone colorways and were part of a collection that Vrba designed in celebration of the Museum of Natural History in NYC.
Acquired from the estate of Nancy Washburne, a beloved local travel agent and fashion maven!
