Antique ca. 1800 Iberian Hessonite Garnet and 18K earrings ✶ SALE ✶

The most luscious ca. 1800s convertible Iberian garnet and gold drop earrings. These earrings are drip-dropping with 200 years of magic! The pair is is set with sixty-four (64) hessonite garnets, which are a yellow-orange variety of garnet. The garnets exhibit a range of sumptuous color across the pair and come in two cuts, oval and round. The pair may be worn in three iterations: a one, two, or three piece drop. When the full earring is worn, it measures a stunning 3 1/2" top to bottom. Ornate, rare, and in marvelous condition. Comes with an appraisal for your files.

Note: These earrings are all-original save for the findings, which appear to have been updated in the early 1900s with posts. We provided new screw backs.

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
