Antique 1930s Art Deco 18K .75 carat sapphire and diamond engagement ring
An Art Deco engagement ring with a .75 carat GIA certified VS1/E diamond flanked by blue sapphires in a hand-etched 18K white gold mounting. This ring announces "Art Deco!" with its streamlined body and geometric design. We love this substantial, hand engraved mounting, especially the wide shoulders and milgrain outlines. The gemstones here are nestled in a perfect, symmetrical world. The diamond is graded "circular brilliant" which indicates that it was cut in the early 20th century when lapidary techniques were shifting from the Old European style to the Modern Round Brilliant. It was an exciting time for gem-cutters! These Transitional cuts were created on the road between old and new - each one a unique signpost! This stunning diamond fits into this category, with characteristics of both Old Euros and modern cuts.
Measurements: Size 8 3/4 US, 5.8 grams. This ring may be sized in the 7-9 range for $75.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
