Vintage 1930s Art Moderne 6.25 carat natural emerald and diamond cocktail ring
A late 1930s emerald cocktail ring with a verdant emerald cabochon set in platinum with diamond-studded shoulders. The 6.25 carat natural emerald is a medium/dark Columbian origin green color translucent with heavily included "jardin." The emerald is prong set in an exquisite platinum mounting. Platinum was reserved for military use during WWII, so this ring likely pre-dates 1940 and is a super example of a Late Art Deco cocktail ring. The shoulders of the ring are set with vari-cut diamonds, nine on each shoulder. Pairs of diamond baguettes guide the eye down the shank to pavé set flourishes, reminiscent of the domes of Indo-Islamic architecture.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
