Antique 1910s English 9K Victorian navette pendant with compartment
A turn-of-the-century navette pendant, beautifully converted from a hairwork brooch. The pendant is 9 CT yellow and rose gold with Neoclassical design details around the trim and a trio of accents - two raised blossoms and one .15 carat old mine cut diamond - spaced across the center. The verso is neatly inset with a fitted frame that lifts out to reveal a roomy hidden compartment. Full hallmarks for the year 1900, right around the time that hairwork jewelry beginning to fall out of style (hairwork jewelry peaked around 1870). This makes a stunning pendant and the compartment is easy to remove so that you can place your own special memento!
Measurements: just over 2" top to bottom, 3 grams (gold only) 3.7 grams with compartment lid.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
