Antique Size 6 3/4 US Georgian almandine garnet eternity band
A rare and wonderful flat cut garnet eternity band from the Late Georgian Era. The band is comprised of thirteen plum-hued almandine garnets, each one cushion-shaped and set in cutaway collets. The garnets are set with closed and foiled backs. They fit perfectly in their crimped compartments, each one slightly different from the next. The edges of the ring follow the curves of the stones, creating a notched band. I only see a few of these come to market each year and I am thrilled to offer one. Exquisitely stackable. Lovely, wearable condition for a 200-year-old ring. One of the garnets looks to be a replacement, but an old one - likely done in the 1880s.
Note: Because of the age and construction of this ring (i.e. closed backs) we recommend gentle as opposed to daily wear.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
