Vintage 1930s Art Deco Platinum .47 carat Old Mine Cut diamond engagement ring
An elegant diamond engagement ring with old and modern cut gemstones in a tiered platinum mounting. The star of the show is a pillow-shaped old mine cut diamond, just a hair under 1/2 carat. The old miner is seated in a square head with beveled sides and corner prongs. The gemstone is a superb example of the cut, with a steep crown, high table, and large open culet. Trios of round cut diamonds cascade down the steppe-style shoulders, narrowing to the chased shank. Hand sawn openwork in the galleries.
Measurements: Size 6 1/2 US, 3.6 grams. This ring may be sized in the 5 -7 US range for $75.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
