Antique two-tone Victorian-Era coral cabochon ring with paste halo

A two-tone, mixed-era coral cabochon halo ring. The coral portion of the ring dates to the Victorian Era and has a closed back setting with engraved, radiating details. The coral - which is a saturated orange color with visible banding - has a paste surround (12 stones) in a silver scalloped trim. This may have been a button or cufflink originally, with the gold shank added after the turn-of-the-century. There are faded hallmarks on the shank, possibly for Poland, although they are difficult to make out. Tests for 14K. Excellent antique condition.

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
