Vintage 1940s Zuni turquoise cluster bracelet
A stunning Zuni cluster work bracelet with natural turquoise set in sterling silver. The lapidary work is beautiful and the metalwork is spare, as is the style of Zuni. In her book "North American Indian Jewelry and Adornment," Lois Sherr Dubin writes that "whereas the Navajo emphasize the silver, Zuni silversmiths prefer multiple turquoise settings secondary to the silverwork." This bracelet came the from estate of a collector and dates to the 1940s. Fifty drop-shaped turquoise are set in a circular pattern with coil-work dividers. Six round stones accent the shoulders. Over 100 grams and excellent condition.
Measurements: 101.3 grams, face 4" x 2 3/4". Fits a wide range of wrists.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
