Vintage 1930s .72 carat Old European Cut diamond engagement ring ✶ SALE ✶

A classic .72 carat Old European Cut 18K diamond solitaire ring. We acquired this Art Deco-Era stone loose and mounted it in a modern 18K yellow gold knife-edge band with a low-profile, platinum head. The best of old and new in one ring! The diamond has a nice wingspan and its steep crown facets, small (slightly off-center!) table, and open culet are perfection. We love the smooth, flickering, warm brilliance of this stone. Six tapered, platinum prongs hold it low and tight without taking away from the experience of its unique shape and personality.

Measurements: Size 6 US, 2.4 grams total weight
Diamond details: (1) Old European Cut diamond, .72 carat VS1/I-J, Cut: Very Good (5.30-5.40/3.70mm)
Era: Diamond 1930s, mounting modern

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
