Antique 1910s Edwardian gold fill festoon necklace
An early 20th century gold filled festoon necklace with pearl and opal stations. Festoon necklaces were fashionable right around the turn of the century: You can see a catalog page in the last photo! This necklace is a perfect example of Art Nouveau jewelry design: draping, sensual, and exquisitely light. Short lengths of connected chains are carefully measured to create a swag effect around the neck. Fan-shaped, gem-set stations and a diamond-shaped feature station that gather the chains and add beautiful detail. Little torpedo drops terminate. Excellent antique condition.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
