Vintage 1950s Synthetic Alexandrite and split pearl halo pendant

A gorgeous mid-century halo pendant with a color-changing Synthetic Alexandrite and a trim of plump pearls. We acquired this as a ring but always wished it was a pendant so . . . we reimagined it! Natural Alexandrite is quite rare and synthetic color changing stones have been on the market for decades to help meet demand. This particular stone is 12mm round and brilliant cut with a thrilling color change from royal purple, to violet, to a red-tinted jacaranda. The gem is trimmed in a halo of sixteen luscious pearls with a scalloped frame. Excellent vintage condition and a lovely gift for someone with a June birthday!

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
