Vintage 1940s 1.04 carat VS1/K Old European Cut solitaire engagement ring
A classic two-tone diamond solitaire ring ca. 1940s set with a GIA certified Old European Cut diamond just over 1 carat. The diamond is a dazzling VS1/K with a tiny table (just 42% of the diamond's diameter!) and a sunburst pattern of facets across the crown. The sparkle of this diamond breaks into a spectrum of colors, flashing with color and contrast. The position of the prongs gives the head of the ring a hexagonal appearance from afar and the high basket lifts the diamond to allow it to bathe in light from every angle. Pretty engraved details around the shoulders and a sturdy shank.
This ring comes with a jewelry appraisal for insurance/replacement as well as a GIA Diamond Report.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
