Vintage 1930s enamel filigree and Peking glass medallion necklace
An Art Deco collar necklace with a glorious Peking glass pendant and the original round bead and filigree chain. Peking glass is a minty-green, marbled glass made to resemble jadeite. It was popular in Art Deco costume jewelry, appearing both as round beads and elaborately molded glass panels. In this necklace, we have both! The chain is made of round glass bead with filigree caps and cast brass spacer beads. This descends to a large pendant drop with a molded glass panel and rhinestone and enamel accents. The panel has a bird motif - I see a Cedar Waxwing! - with leaves and berries. Excellent condition and likely Czech in origin.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
