Antique 1910s Art Deco .83 carat VS1/K Old European Cut diamond solitaire engagement ring
An exquisite ca. 1915 solitaire engagement ring with a .83 carat Old European Cut in a high, decorative basket. The GIA certified (VS1/K) diamond has beautiful faceting with a sunburst pattern across the crown. The large, open culet (facet) at the bottom of the deep-bodied diamond is a hallmark of old cutting techniques and a charming characteristic. The diamond rests in a pretty solitaire basket with fleur de lis openwork. Stripes of platinum race up the shoulders, gently etched with chevrons.
This ring comes with a jewelry appraisal for insurance/replacement as well as a GIA Diamond Report.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
