Vintage 1930s 18K orange blossom wedding or stacking band
The use of orange blossoms at weddings - in bouquets, bridal crowns, and as motifs in jewelry - was made popular by Queen Victoria. She wore a crown of fresh, fragrant orange blossoms in her hair at her wedding to her beloved Prince Albert in 1840. It was rather remarkable that she chose to wear the simple flowers, and not diamonds or other jewels, as her hair ornament on the occasion and her choice was soon copied by young brides across England and beyond. The Queen and her Prince used orange blossoms - fresh and in jewelry - to commemorate their anniversaries thereafter. The Queen even sent springs to her married daughters living abroad on special, sentimental occasions. Orange blossom pattern wedding bands persisted in popularity into the 20th century, especially during the 1920s and 1930s. This ring is a marvelous example.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
