Antique 1920s Egyptian Revival carved steatite scarab bar pin in original box
A fabulous bit of Egypto-mania jewelry history! This 1920s Egyptian Revival bar pin features a carved steatite scarab in a simple bar pin. I believe the scarab is much older than the setting/box: perhaps by more than 100 years. The pin is nestled in its original box with a seafoam green velvet and satin interior and a leather, faux basket weave exterior. The box has little "handles" on both ends and a little flap of leather was even made to hide the metal hinge on the back. A beautiful little piece.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
