Antique 1930s Art Deco .24 carat VS1/I Old European Cut diamond engagement ring

An Art Deco 18K diamond engagement ring with an Old European Cut diamond tucked in a hexagonal head. The diamond - just a hair shy of 1/4 carat - is neatly set in a crimped bezel. The bezel appears to float in the setting thanks to slivers of open work around the frame. The side gallery is filigreed with crocus or bluebell-shaped flowers and the tapered shoulders are lightly hand engraved. Slim shank. The diamond is VS1/I with lovely old-cut proportions and that warm sparkle that we love!

Note: This ring comes with an insurance appraisal for replacement purposes. The appraisal is set at $1350

Measurements: Size 6 US, 1.4 grams. This ring may be sized in the 5 to 7.5 US range for $75

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
