Vintage Art Deco 1930s .70 carat Old European Cut diamond stepped engagement ring
A stunning 1930s Art Deco tiered engagement ring with a .70 carat Old European Cut center in a steppe-style platinum mounting. This ring is thoroughly representative of the Art Deco aesthetic, with a linear, streamlined design that guides the eye in a predictable yet exciting way. The Old Euro diamond lifts ever so slightly above the top tier of the ring, held at the four corners by fishtail prongs. The diamond grades VS1/F-G and flickers with a fiery, lively brilliance! It displays the faceting proportions that we adore, like petal-esque crown facets, a small table, and an open culet. We also see the kaleidoscopic Kozibe effect in this stone, which is the reflection of the culet facet around diamond! The primary diamond is supported by twenty-two single cut diamonds, set pavé style with milgrained borders up the tiered shoulders and around the square head. 1.03 CTW for the ring. Charming openwork on the side gallery and hand engraved details on three sides of the shank provide a soft balance to the geometry of the design. What is not to love?!

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
