Art Deco carnelian 10K signet ring ∙ 1930s Art Deco hardstone gold ring

Art Deco 10K white gold signet-style ring set with carnelian. The ring has a slim (2mm) band that widens gradually to 10mm. Engraved detail (abstract flowers, leaves, linear markings) on the shoulders is divided into three sections, with each one leading up to one side of the octagonal mounting. Further engraving north and south of the carnelian completes the decorative, "framing" of the stone. The carnelian is oxblood red and bezel set with in an octagonal frame. Milgrain detail. High rise from finger is 6mm and the profile of the ring is striking. Excellent Art Deco condition.
