Antique Victorian silver and gold rose cut diamond drops earrings

A pair of gold and silver Victorian drop earrings with a constellation of rough and rose cut diamond accents. Two-tone jewelry was popular in the Georgian and early Victorian Era, with silver being the favored metal for setting clear stones (diamonds, paste, and sometimes aquamarines). This pair is modeled in silver with gold accents, gold ear wires, and a gilt verso. We love the five-armed, diamond-set star at the center and the flourishes in the silverwork frame. Back to front closure and comfortable to wear. Excellent, wearable condition and all original.

Measurements: 1" drop
