Antique 1920s Art Deco 18K .37 carat Old European Cut diamond engagement ring
An absolutely stunning Art Deco engagement ring engraved for a wedding at the end of 1929. The ring showcases a lively .37 carat Old European Cut diamond (VS1/F). The diamond chortles from its perch above the extraordinary hand-sawn filigree mounting. The gently tapered shoulders have a decorative chevron motif and fretwork-style details. Orange blossoms trail down the shank. The openwork on the side galleries recalls a city skyline: shapely cutaways that follow the curve of the ring. This is one of the prettiest rings that we have seen lately! Engraved inside, "John to Marlee Dec 3rd, 1929."
Measurements: Size 5 US, 2.2 grams. This ring may be sized in the 4-7 US range for $75.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
