Antique 1920s 1.04 carat SI1/L Old European Cut solitaire engagement ring
A classic yellow gold solitaire engagement ring set with a GIA certified Old European Cut diamond weighing in just over 1 carat. This diamond is a plump and dazzling example of "old world" cutting style, with a large open culet and a tight sunburst pattern of facets across the crown. It displays a warm, twinkling dispersion of light as well as the Kozibe optical effect, or the reflection of the culet facet around the crown facets. The mounting is early 20th century with a hallmark for 14K gold (I am still puzzling out the maker's mark!) Lovely, low profile and supremely wearable.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
