Vintage 1930s Art Deco 18K .10 carat Old European Cut diamond engagement ring

An Art Deco filigree engagement ring with an Old European cut diamond set in 18K white gold. The diamond is modest (.10 carat) but is flush-set to maximum advantage in a floating, hexagonal head. The mounting has openwork details around the gallery that remind me of ribbon candy (!) and tiny blossoms "tucked" in the filigree. The line of the band continues up the shoulders, bisecting the filigreed design and providing a pleasing east/west symmetry. Pressed and patterned details accent the upper shank, a sweet detail that I don't often see on flat bands. Milgrain detail throughout.

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
