Antique 1900s Edwardian enamel locket necklace with original chain
A Belle-Epoque locket with periwinkle enamel, silver accents, and marcasite trim. The locket has guilloche enamel on the front and verso. The front pattern features alternating strips of climbing flowers and vertical lines, a bit like wallpaper. This provides a subtle and luxurious background for the raised flower vase at the center of the locket. The face is trimmed in tiny marcasites with two further stones in the blossoms in the vase. The verso is enameled with a machine-turned, radiating pattern. The locket suspends from a matching chain, with four-sided bar links and a blossom drop station. The upper chain is plain cable link. The locket opens to a tidy interior with two compartments. Fitted photo rings are present. Closes securely with a tight "snap." Likely Continental silver (800/1000). Outstanding condition.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
