Vintage 9 CT poissarde earrings with enamel accents
A pair of Poissarde "fishwife" style earrings from the early 20th century. The earrings have the elongated form and delicate, clever construction characteristic of this style. This pair is 9 carat hollow gold with rose and yellow-toned gold and mounted as well as suspended elements. Blue enamel flowers with pink paste centers add a pop of color. Light and lovely to wear. The earrings are thread through the ear back-to-front, hinging open to allow for easy fastening. English in origin. There is evidence of repair work at many points on this pair - they have been well-loved and maintained over the years. Overall appearance remains lovely.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
