Vintage 1930s Art Deco Platinum 1930s diamond and sapphire drop earrings
A dazzling pair of Art Deco diamond and sapphire earrings from the jewelry estate of a prominent Michigan collector and patron of the arts. Once the shoulders of an ornate Art Deco bracelet, we reimagined these earrings with the help of our friends at Spur Jewelry in NYC (you can see the original bracelet in the last photo!) The earrings are platinum with engraved and delicate cutaway details on each of the former links - five links making up each earring. The earrings are pavé set with mixed cut diamonds and a line of accent sapphires down the center. The sapphires are set so seamlessly and take on such a natural form that they appear to have been drawn in with a calligraphy pen! The earrings widen slightly from 5.2 mm at the top to 7.2 mm at the base. The largest diamonds are approx. .30 carat each, set at the top. Sturdy platinum ear wires. A truly bespoke piece of Art Deco history!

Gemstone details: (2) 4.2 mm OEC diamonds, SI/G-H .60 CTW and (32) mixed cut (rose, single and OEC) diamonds, 1.5-2.0mm, .50 CTW and (12) mixed cut blue sapphires, .30 CTW.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
