Antique Victorian 8CT intaglio wax seal fob pendant
A Victorian fob with a minimalist body and a glass intaglio seal that reads, "Tho lost to sight to memory dear." Fobs served as pocket watch ornaments - usually for men but also for women - attached to the end of watch chains and left visible outside the clothing. The seal of this fob - meant to mimic chalcedony - bears a well-known motto that circulated widely in the Georgian and Victorian Eras. "Tho lost to sight to memory dear" was inscribed on mourning and token jewelry throughout the 19th century. Available alone or with a 14K cable link chain

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
