Antique 1920s Egyptian Revival faux lapis lotus motif drop earrings

An extraordinary pair of 1920s Egyptian Revival drop earrings with faience-style glass beads and lotus and scarab motifs. The earrings feature an irregularly shaped, mottled glass bead at the top, spinning like a drum in a fitted frame. Two short lengths of chain descend from the bead to meet a crisply cast, downward-turned lotus finding. This suspends the terminating, scarab-shared drop. The glass components of the earrings are a rich, lapis lazuli-colored blue. The scarabs are set in a closed-back bezel. Latching ear wire closure. Excellent condition and absolutely one-of-a-kind. We are speechless.
