Antique Victorian two-tone 12K bird motif pendant
A darling pendant with a bird perched between carved gold leaves, turquoise embellishments, and a pearl-studded flower. This style of pendant - also often seen in earring pairs - was made in Mexico as well as Europe in the mid-late 19th century. In Mexico, the "Pajaritos" motif was heavily influenced by European (Colonial Era) aesthetics. The little scene shows a silver-winged bird tending its lush nest. Turquoise and pearls accent and three little drops create a fringe. Marked for 12K gold, which was used briefly from the late 1800s-1930s. Two tone yellow and rose gold with an oxidized silver bird. Beautiful dimensions! Comes with a 14K white gold chain.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
