Antique 1820s Georgian split pearl and agate conversion ring
A stunning agate, split pearl and gold dress ring with Georgian and Edwardian components. The ring face was once a clasp and pre-dates the mounting by about 100 years. It is a wonderful match up and whoever did the work - probably a bench jeweler in the 1930s - did a masterful job! The rectangular face (ca. 1820s) features a beveled moss agate center with a trim of creamy split pearls. The setting is closed and the edges are crimped. There is lovely variation across the pearls, which are all original to the ring. This is tucked in a 9 CT (ca. 1910s) wide-forked setting in rose gold.
Note: Because of the age and construction of this ring (i.e. a closed back) we recommend gentle as opposed to daily wear.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
