Antique Victorian 14K milk tooth "bow tie" ring with diamonds
A rare and wonderful Victorian-Era "milk tooth" or baby tooth ring. Baby tooth jewelry is THE quintessential example of Victorian sentimental jewelry, even more intimate than hairwork (in my humble opinion). This ring is modeled in 14K rose gold with two teeth set mirroring each other like sides of a bow-tie. A little row of rose cut diamonds divides them. The ring carries an import hallmark for Vienna, Austro-Hungary. It is possible that the body of the ring was made elsewhere (England?) and imported to a jeweler's stock in Vienna, where a customer could supply teeth to have it customized. Fascinating, heart-bursting details!
Measurements: Size 5 US, 2.9 grams. We do not recommend sizing this ring.

Markings: Hallmark for an imported item to Austro-Hungary, 1902-1922.

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
