Antique Art Deco 1920s 14K simulated emerald and seed pearl cocktail ring ✶ SALE ✶
A spectacular Art Deco cocktail ring with many elements of design and a trim of seed pearls. The center green glass - or "simulated emerald," as this probably was marketed - is set in an openwork 14K white gold ring with flowers, bow motifs on the shoulders, and a seed pearl surround. It was made by Belais, a company founded by David Belais around 1918 in New York City. Belais was known for being an early pioneer in manufacturing white gold in America. White gold was a good alternative to platinum which was needed for World War I and II.
Note: The ‘LAF’ in the stamp is short for Lafayette, the street Belais was located in NYC!

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
