Antique 1920s Art Deco "Japanese Style" 10K gold signet ring
A rare and sumptuous 10K signet ring from the 1920s with a snake on one shoulder, cattails on the other and gemstone accents. Although I have seen this style of ring in antique catalogs before, this is the first time I have met one in person! The weighty ring (8.2 grams) was originally marketed as a gentleman's signet ring, and a highly decorative one at that. This ring has a climbing, scaly snake weaving up one shoulder with a teardrop-shaped ruby at its crest. The other shoulder has waving and woven cattails, quite a remarkable motif to see in gentleman's jewelry. The face of the ring has areas of high polish and dappled texture, with sweeping borders, gathered sides, and a diamond accent. Truly one of the prettiest and mightiest signets I have seen!

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
