Antique 1820s Georgian topaz and diamond ring
A Georgian-era ring with a gorgeous foil-backed topaz center and rose cut diamond stations. The topaz is an orangy-peach color with a luminous body and pretty proportions. It is set in a cutaway collet and tucked nearly flush with the setting. The rose cut diamonds are teardrop shaped and set in silver at compass points around the topaz. The gems are set in a delicate yellow gold frame with "s-curve" flourishes. The mounting of the ring is a later addition, likely a repair, done in rose gold with a double reed shank and supportive under gallery. Beautiful from every angle.
Note: This ring is best suited mindful (not casual!) wear. It should not be submerged in water or worn to clean, work out, etc.

Shipping
Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.
International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
