Vintage mid-century platinum 1.52 carat Old European Cut diamond engagement or dress ring

A stunning 1950s multi-diamond platinum ring with a twinkling 1.52 carat Old European Diamond center. This ring packs an immense amount of sparkle-power into a compact, lozenge-shaped design. The primary diamond has a 7.35-7.40mm spread (yowza!), a warm body, and a quicksilver play of light. The diamond has room to spread in its lifted prong setting, appearing almost to hover above the rest of the ring. A further eight diamonds trim the frame of the design, each one thoughtfully set with milgrain detail. Cutaway designs in the mounting create areas of shapely contrast, most notably four triangles around the primary diamond. Knife edge shank. Outstanding condition, freshly re-tipped.

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
