Antique 14K rose gold Victorian bloodstone heart pendant with pearl surround and bail

A remarkable Victorian heart pendant with a polished bloodstone trimmed in luscious split pearls. The combination of the dark, moody bloodstone (heliotrope) with the frothy pearls is striking and something that we don't often see in Victorian jewelry. The bloodstone is hewn into a plump, soft heart: both sides are polished and visible, which is a lovely detail. The stone is bezel set with a rose gold "belt" bezel and further trimmed in creamy split pearls. The pearls appear to be brimming in the crimped surround. The pendant suspends from a seed pearl eternity bail. Richly made and beautiful from every angle. Available alone or with the pictured chain, which is 9 CT rose gold English ca. 1910s.

Shipping

Domestic: In-stock items ship within three days of purchase (usually within two!) via USPS. Our default is USPS Priority Mail unless your purchase is over $1,000, in which case we require USPS Express Mail + signature confirmation. Insurance is included with all domestic purchases.

International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case we default to USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery. Insurance for international orders is available upon request and for an added fee.
